One of the greatest wine producers in the world, the idyllic climate of the Iberian peninsula has rendered Spain the most widely planted wine-producing nation, with over 2.9 million acres of vineyards across its territory.

 

While almost every possible grape variety is planted in Spain, it is perhaps best known for its robust and vibrant reds, with Tempranillo at the forefront, and including Garnacha, Cariñena, and Palomino. Not to leave of the whites, ranging from Albariño to Airen to Macabeo.
