3 day lead-time required to confirm availability Why?

It is in this product that one can feel the unique power and character which marks out a top-of-the-range champagne. Consistency, expertise and a creative spirit ensure a success which needs no further demonstration. The Maison Duval-Leroy revels in the art of blending Pinots and Chardonnays. Enriched with around fifteen crus and generous quantity of reserve wines, Duval-Leroy Brut confirms its complexity and is recognised for its consistency. Providing a perfect balance between finesse and power, it draws out flavours of dark chocolate, cinnamon and roasted yellow figs, expressing its subtle, melt-in-the-mouth vinosity. It was the only Champagne recognised by Wine Spectator magazine in its Top 100 classification for 2008.

Rating
Wine Advocate 88 points (Nov 2011)
The NV Brut is an attractive, entry-level wine laced with ripe pears, hazelnuts, spices and dried flowers. An understated, floral finish makes it hard to resist a second taste. This mid-weight, accessible, beautifully balanced Champagne is best suited for drinking over the next two to three years. I especially like the way NV Brut opens up with time in the glass. This is Lot 1097B. Anticipated maturity: 2011-2014. ”
 Wine Spectator 91 points (Nov 15 2008)
This rich, sumptuous bubbly is marked by clover honey, candied citrus and hints of malt and mineral. It's beautifully integrated, with medium weight and a lingering, ginger-infused aftertaste. Drink now through 2010. 35,000 cases made. –BS The #77 in 2008 Wine Spectator's Top 100
 Wine Spectator 93 points (Nov 30 2006)
A big, full-bodied bubbly, featuring graphite, toast, lemon and nut aromas and flavors. Balanced, with an assertive finish. Will improve with a few months of cellaring. Drink now through 2009. 35,000 cases made. –BS Ranked #41 in Wine Spectator's 2006 Top 100 list.
